JOB DESCRIPTION

• Good basic knowledge in structural engineering for the steel industry, Mining and Beneficiation Plant.
• Basic Knowledge in working with Indian and foreign Standards
• Ability in working using 3D Platform using REVIT/TEKLA/E-3D.
• Understanding of the basic requirement against an assignment.
• Proficiency in Navis works and Autocad (basic working knowledge).
• Proficiency in analysis software like Staad-Pro or equivalent.
• Understanding of the basic assignment and preparation of the basic scheme. 
• Analysis and design of structures based on the applicable codes and software.
• To provide input to  Modelers for the preparation of 3D Models.
•  Communication with other departments to get the complete basic input for an assigned Job. 
•  Analytic skill and capable of analyzing the structure by manual calculation. 

SKILL

1.  Study of the basic inputs and take initiation to start the work for assigned Job. 

2. Preparation of Structural Staad Model from the basic assignment, Analysis, design of structures and document preparation.

3. Discussion with other disciplines and clients for providing comprehensive engineering solutions.

4. Preparation of Bill of quantities

5. Health inspection/assessment of existing erected structures, discussion with Client, collection of information/input and inspection report preparation.

6. Detailed engineering for retrofitting/strengthening/modification to existing damaged/corroded/distressed structures.
